How to speed up Windows 8 by disabling startup items
Although Windows 8 is the fastest booting Windows so far but here is how to speed up Windows 8 by disabling startup items to even optimize Windows 8 bootup.
By default, startup config is no longer supported by msconfig.
Here is how to disable unnecessary boot level services in Windows 8:
How to speed up Windows 8 by disabling startup items:
1. Open run using win+R and type msconfig and open task manager within startup menu.
Else simply right-click on taskbar and open Task manager and goto Startup.
2. Now, in the Startup menu, browse and select the startup programs displaying high impact on the Windows 8 startup and are not much of use.
3. Right click on the service which you want to disable which in turn will speed up Windows 8 startup.
Now Windows 8 will turn to even more optimized while booting up from sleep and shutdown. The services which are rarely used can be categorized and changed to disabled state to load Windows 8 more effectively.
